"there's nothing that takes more effort than appearing effortless", @tessaswag said in a recent conversation. and it's true. the people who are actually out there doing something are out there doing it. the people who aren't used to a lifestyle they want you to think they are used to, are the ones that are making success seem effortless.
i probably directed you to this entry via my digital persona. a picture of me that i normally wouldn't post, but to me it's a joke if that's what drives more readers to my platform. in reality, looking a little thotty got you to my real persona. hey boo.
mercury is in retrograde so please excuse my lack of fucks to give, but i'm frustrated. there are too many illusions being distributed on a daily basis from your timelines to your faces. as we evolve, we're embraced by technology which is here to make our lives more efficient in endless ways. but have you noticed that while being more connected than ever, we've never been more disconnected? there is a true lack in humanity that comes with the dependency on technology and digital persona.
credit is hardly given where it's due, losing track of origin. if you don't know the true origin of a concept, then are you really portraying the message you want? if you don't know the true origin of yourself, do you even know who you are? there have been philosophers for centuries telling you to "know thyself", but today in the 21st century, drake can say it and you all claim to know yourselves on instagram. with so many people claiming to be something they aren't, we're drifting away from reality.
